Miles and the La Salle 11

My son got to sit in Joe Bortz' restored La Salle 11 roadster from the 54 Motorama, you can see the unrestored La Salle 11 sedan in the backround

Amelia Island Concours

The Cadillac was invited to the Amelia Island Concours, it was a hit. I was parked next to the 1959 Cyclone, what an honor.

1961 Cadillac Eldorado

She was originally called Le Mans and she was obviously changed for the 1962 Chicago Auto Show with a a wreath and crest on the trunk lid, the letters ELDORADO replacing the Le Mans badge and a grille that reflected the new 1962 models. She looks way better in this configuration and it would be historically accurate to restore her to this stage in her life. These pictures were sent from GM's archives, they were taken on the patio at the design studios in Detroit. There is tons of stuff slowly coming out about this car, it's exciting.

Billetproof 2012, Best Custom

A remarkable fresh build, sectioned some five inches, chopped maybe four, it was based on a genuine Ford Victoria hardtop. The taillights and dashboard were both taken from a 56 Oldsmobile, the grill bar is a 53 Chevy front bumper overrider. It took Best Custom, very well deserved.
